Most couples‘ weddings are their first. Other than occasionally attending a cousin’s wedding or being a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding, most have very little experience with how weddings go down. This is a whole new life experience and can definitely be scary to jump into! With whole new emotions, a luxury event, being the center of attention; there’s a lot to consider! That’s why I asked my past clients and friends for advice to give to future brides and grooms.

I’m out here, a New Mexico girl going through Northeast weddings cause I have completely run out of content due to Covid-19. I should be booking so many sessions and weddings but alas, 2020 is not any of our year.

Wow. Thanks to quarantine, I’m able to go back in time and blog some October weddings! October is the most chaotic part of the year for photographers, and what follows it is months of catching up on editing and making deadlines. It’s so hard to blog during these times so I’m grateful for this bit of downtime to actually be able to feature some of my favorite weddings!

I still cannot BELIEVE how much of a blast this wedding was. I laughed so hard from start to end. Megan and Steve exactly the fun-loving, hilarious, board game playing people that I love to surround myself with and their wedding was such a perfect reflection of who they are. The weather was gorgeous, the […]

Mallory & Justin’s McGovern’s on the Water wedding in Fall River, Massachusetts was the definition of sweet, joyful, and so completely them. From the moment I first met these two, it felt like we were already friends and by the end of their wedding day, I was convinced they’re truly one of those couples who […]

Let’s talk about nontraditional weddings because Alice and Jacob’s day at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts? An absolute masterpiece. It was a perfect July day with the sun shining, art everywhere, and two people doing their wedding exactly the way they wanted. When I first got to the hotel, I found […]

For such a small, short, intimate wedding I cannot say enough about how much I loved this backyard New Hampshire elopement. Jen and Bob have been building up their forest love nest by the Merrimack River for awhile; gardening, raising chickens, and constructing all kinds of fences and gateways. The house itself has such an […]

Katie and Bryan!! Man these two are amazing. They picked the coolest location at Crane Beach, Ipswich, Massachusetts and we just had an absolute blast, leaving our shoes by the parking lot and running through the sand. I can’t even tell you how much of a blast I had with Katie and Bryan. They truly […]
