Crystal Lake Golf Club Wedding

Introduction

It was a beautiful summer day at the Crystal Lake Golf Club in Burrillville, Rhode Island. It was also the date of Kayla and Ben’s wedding celebration! Though they had a small wedding in 2020 during Covid, they were looking forward to having a real party so much they decided to do a wedding part 2!

My day started off with getting ready photos at the Renaissance Inn by Marriott Lincoln.

Kayla was surrounded by her bridesmaids and flowergirls, all having the greatest time. I basically walked into them hilariously pressing temporary tattoos of Ben’s face and lemme tell you, the day only got better from there. One of my previous brides was a bridesmaid it was amazing to catch up! It was such a relaxing morning. A really sweet moment was seeing most of Kayla’s bridesmaids helping her get into the wedding dress she had been waiting for.

Every so often, I would go see the guys who were in another room of the hotel. It was the best seeing them all help eachother get into their suits. It’s crazy how many different rules there are to men’s formal wear. Nonetheless, they figured it out!

After that it was time for Kayla and Ben to finally see eachother face to face at Crystal Lake Golf Club for the first look! And it was the cutest first look ever. You can just tell how much Ben is in love with Kayla, and vice versa. They just couldn’t stop looking at eachother and embracing. Their love is just so strong and sweet.

The ceremony took place at the Crystal Lake Golf Club in Burrillville though you’d never guess the ceremont location was on a golf course. The spot Crystal Lake set up for ceremonies is located right beside the lake, with stunning views of the water. Kayla and Ben got married under a gazebo decorated with white curtains dancing in the breeze and flowers that added a gorgeous pop of color. After the ceremony, we took family photos nestled in some trees, giving a completely different look. If you’re looking for an outdoor venue that has plenty of room and variety, Crystal Lake is perfect!

My favorite part of the ceremony was that Kayla had her grandma as one of the flower girls! One of the bridesmaids was also the ceremony. It was so personal!

Once the ceremony was over, guests made their way inside to the reception area. The view of the lake provided a beautiful backdrop for guests to get photos of themselves. Everyone looked fantastic! The food was amazing and everyone had such a great time celebrating with the couple. It was such a party!

At sunset, the sky began to glow so we stepped away from the reception area for some more intimate portraits of the new Mr. and Mrs.

Leaving your reception for bride and groom portraits during sunset is SO worth it. Especially when your wedding is at Crystal Lake Golf Club. This place offers a dock to walk out on to get panoramic views of the lake. Not only that, but it has sweeping, green fields. If you can avoid the golfers, you’ll get some of the most epic sunset portraits you can dream of.

The rest of the night was such a great time it was to celebrate Kayla and Ben!

They had a spectacular DJ that kept people on their feet all night! One of my favorite moments was when Ben’s father sang Perfect by Ed Sheeran to the couple. Kayla and Ben also had the sweetest dances with their parents. It just makes my heart burst when I see so much emotion and love in a room. It makes my stomach happy when I see a WALL OF DONUTS, which was such a hit with the guests. Once the dance floor simmered down a little, we all went outside to send off Kayla and Ben with a sparkler exit.
