Camilla and Cameron met over craft beer so getting married at The Guild in Pawtucket, Rhode Island made complete sense. Industrial space, exposed brick, beer barrels everywhere, the actual hum of brewing equipment in the background. It felt completely like them from the moment you walked in.
The details were soooo good. Custom beer labels with their faces on them (yes, really!). Beer-themed centerpieces. Camilla in a vintage-inspired lace dress that was genuinely stunning, Cameron in a retro suit that matched the whole vibe perfectly. The contrast of classic and industrial worked incredibly well and I had so much to shoot in every direction.
The Guild as a space is just fun to photograph. High ceilings, big windows, brick walls, the barrels — you’re never short of interesting backdrops. And Camilla and Cameron were completely easy and natural in front of the camera, which made everything feel effortless. Their people were fully there for it too. The dance floor was packed and loud and exactly what you’d want at a wedding like this.
BBQ from The Smoke Shop for catering, which, if you’ve ever had it, you already know. Guests were very happy.
As a Rhode Island wedding photographer I’d shoot at The Guild again without hesitation. It’s one of those venues that has genuine personality. It’s not trying to be anything other than what it is, and that makes for really authentic photos.
If you’re a craft beer couple looking for something that doesn’t feel like every other wedding venue, The Guild is worth a serious look. Let’s talk about your day.

Q: Where is The Guild located? The Guild is in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, about 10 minutes from Providence and easily accessible from most of southern New England. It’s a working craft brewery and event space with a lot of industrial character. Exposed brick, high ceilings, big windows, and beer barrels that make for genuinely great photos.
Q: What is The Guild like as a wedding venue? It’s flexible, photogenic, and has a personality that a lot of more traditional venues don’t. The industrial aesthetic pairs really well with both casual and elevated wedding styles. Camilla and Cameron leaned into the vintage meets industrial contrast and it looked incredible. The space can be configured different ways depending on your guest count and vision.
Q: Is The Guild good for wedding photography? It’s perfect! The combination of natural light from the big windows, the textural brick walls, the barrels, and the open ceiling gives you a ton of variety without ever leaving the building. It’s one of my favorite Rhode Island venues to shoot in.
Q: Can you do the ceremony and reception both at The Guild? Yes! The space is flexible enough to host both, which makes the flow of the day really easy. Camilla and Cameron had everything in one location and it worked beautifully.
Q: Do you photograph weddings at The Guild in Pawtucket? Yes! I’m a Connecticut-based Rhode Island wedding photographer and The Guild is one of my favorite venues in the state. Reach out here and let’s talk about your day.
