We could all use something like this right now. Kimberly’s Sitting Bull Falls maternity session was my last session before the world became something unexpected and scary. This session has honestly calmed me so much while editing it and it’s not hard to see why!

Kimberly is gorgeous and a soon-to-be mama! She was an absolute trooper during this session, as Sitting Bull has its fair share of hiking and precarious situations. She owned it completely and looks like a total goddess.

Weddings and engagements are totally my jam but maternity sessions, especially those in nature, bring such a magical, primal feeling. They are just so human. Weddings as they are have only existed for about a hundred years. The traditions and customs are a social construct. Pregnancy has always been there. And that’s what makes these sessions feel so real and natural.
