I didn’t think I stood a chance when I saw Sania’s request on Facebook for an engagement photographer. Already dozens of comments deep, I still threw in my website anyway with hopes that she’d maybe, possibly, HOPEFULLY see it.

And my goodness, I am so lucky she did. She and Danyal came into the session ready to give it their all and with so much excitement that just made every moment a blast. They had stuffed jumbo balloons in their tiny car, ready to dance in the flowers and sunshine at the unbelievable Harkness Memorial Park.

Sania and Danyal have the kind of relationship that just tugs at my heartstrings – they live thousands of miles apart with Sania living in Connecticut and Danyal in Florida. Long distance is something I know all too well and couples like this just reaffirm how completely worth it all the struggle is. Though they have only been able to meet up every few months, Sania and Danyal share this unbreakable bond and a deep, inspiring respect for eachother. Danyal treats Sania like an absolute queen, making my heart melt with the way he looked at her and how obviously he adores her. It was such an honor walking the grounds of Harkness Park with them, getting to know them and their love story.

I can’t even begin with how amazing Harkness Memorial Park is. I’ve always heard about it, since it is one of the most popular locations in Connecticut for photo sessions. I finally had my chance to come here and I hope it won’t be the last. This place has everything you could possibly want – flower fields, gardens, a mansion, a beach, little courtyards and old greenhouses covered in vines. I could shoot her every day.

They were so perfect and natural in front of the camera. It was an absolute dream <3
Also can we talk about their outfits??! They looked amazing! Plus all the possibilities of a flippy skirt…ahhh!

The session ended with the most perfect sunset. All the heart eyes. Every heart eyes.
