Ahhh Elizabeth Park! I’ve been dying to shoot here since I heard all about their amazing rose garden. So many people have suggested I shoot here so when Claire sent me the email letting me know her wedding would be there AND that she wanted her engagement session there? I was a happy photographer. So lucky I got to shoot here!

Claire and Adam represent the magic that happens when two super sweet introverts in a crazy extroverted world find eachother. Dorming in the same building in college, their friends met first, forming a group of board-game enthusiasts who would set up games in eachothers rooms. It was during a round of Settlers of Catan that Claire and Adam met and while I myself am A HUUUUGE fan of this game, Claire and Adam bonded over mutual irritation of it.

The first time Claire and Adam hung out, Claire invited him to watch the movie The Gods Must be Crazy as a bit of a test. Whoever watches this movie with her and loves it just as much as she does, immediately becomes one of her favorite people. Adam passed with flying colors. Soon, the two were dating.

On a trip together touring the beautiful Monticello, Virginia, Adam asked Claire to be his wife. From that day to when I met them for their engagement session, I don’t believe they’ve stopped smiling and laughing together. The adorable level is off the charts with these two <3
