What a perfect summer wedding to kick off my 2017 season! Mikala and Pete and two of the most laid back, fun loving, and outdoorsy people and everything about their wedding reflected that. From the bouquet made from Harry Potter pages to the bonfire where guests toasted smores, every detail fit this couple’s personality so well.

The wedding was held at the unique venue of Francis Farm, a place with a charm and uniqueness I had never seen from a venue before. Dotted with tiny little buildings like an arcade, a taxidermy room, and an antique car museum, Francis Farm provided such a fun backdrop for this casual wedding.

The entire day was packed full of smiles and laughter. At any given moment, Pete can make Mikala crack up out of nowhere. By their sides throughout the day were their hysterical bridesmaids and groomsmen, who kept me laughing so hard my sides hurt. Their guests looked at the newlyweds with such pride and joy in their eyes. This is a couple who has endless support and love from their family and friends, just one of the many reasons these two will last a lifetime.  I have no doubt about it.
