I still cannot believe I got to start my 2019 wedding season off like this! An intimate, beachy, sunset wedding taking place on the shoreline of Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, Connecticut. Complete with incredible, unique ceremony decorations and florals, a carousel, a bottle of champagne, and some fireworks, this is one I’ll always remember.

When Nathasha first got in contact with me, she had planned to have her intimate wedding at city hall in Hartford. After showing her some previous intimate weddings I had done, she changed her mind to celebrate somewhere more outdoorsy! And honestly this place cannot be beat.

The day started off with a first look right before the ceremony. Nathasha and Viranga decided to surround themselves with their family and friends in that moment and witnessing everyone’s reactions, and especially the bride and grooms’ was something so special. Viranga even presented Nathasha with a necklace in that moment, and they held hands as they walked towards the site of their ceremony. Though there were 8 people in attendance, that did not take away from all the emotion and love and laughhter of a wedding day even a little. Nathasha and Viranga’s love for eachother shone through so brightly in the way they look at eachother, the way he kisses her forehead in any moment, and the way she wraps her arms around him.

I am so thankful they chose me to document this day, I wish I could do it over and over!
