Emmeline & Jared’s Danversport Yacht Club Wedding in Massachusetts

Where do I even begin with this one?! Emmeline & Jared’s Danversport Yacht Club wedding in Danvers, Massachusetts was pure joy from start to finish. I adore these two so much. By the time the night ended with us belting out Hey Soul Sister at the top of our lungs, I knew this wasn’t just another wedding for me. This was one of those “I can’t believe this is my job” kind of days. And yes, I cried. A LOT. (I don’t cry at weddings anymore…and yet here we are.)

Getting Ready at Home

The morning started at Emmeline’s family home, which was filled with art, antiques, and the warmest energy. It was a whirlwind of excitement- friends and family buzzing around, laughter spilling out of every corner, and that same electric anticipation you get as a kid on Christmas morning. The vibe of a classy, heartfelt wedding was already set before we even made it to the venue.

First Look by the Lighthouse

If you’re on the fence about a first look, let me just say: DO IT. Emmeline & Jared shared their first look by a lighthouse overlooking the harbor, and it was everything. The second Emmeline tapped Jared on the shoulder, the waterworks began. They read personal vows to each other in this quiet, private space- a chance to calm nerves, soak each other in, and spend quality time together before the rush of the day. It also freed up their timeline later so they could spend more time actually enjoying the party.

Ceremony & Reception at Danversport Yacht Club

The ceremony flowed right into one of the most fun, heartfelt receptions I’ve ever seen. Danversport Yacht Club is a dream of a waterfront wedding venue, with sweeping harbor views and elegant spaces that make every moment feel special.

And oh my gosh, the reception. This bridal party knew how to party, and the dance floor was packed all night long. Emmeline & Jared choreographed their first dance to I’ll Follow You by Shinedown (melted into a puddle). Her dad’s dance featured We Didn’t Start the Fire (instant crowd hit). Then came the surprise: a live Syrian Zaffa and Dabke group that had the entire room on their feet. Every single detail was unexpected, lively, and so them.

Final Thoughts

Emmeline & Jared, your Massachusetts wedding at Danversport Yacht Club was unforgettable. The two of you have such a deep, respectful, joy-filled love, and you welcome everyone around you with that same kindness. I feel so lucky to have been a part of your story…and just so you know, you haven’t seen the last of me!
