Introduction It was a beautiful summer day at the Crystal Lake Golf Club in Burrillville, Rhode Island. It was also the date of Kayla and Ben’s wedding celebration! Though they had a small wedding in 2020 during Covid, they were looking forward to having a real party so much they decided to do a wedding […]
This Gould Barn Wedding in Massachusetts is the epitome of a fall New England wedding. The best time of year in the northeast combined with vintage details and historic buildings- it just feels like a movie! Sydney and Matt’s wedding fit perfectly into the scene. They came all the way from Portland, Oregon to get […]
The Wedding Day at Gateway Canyons Gateway Canyon Resort in Colorado was such an unexpected, amazing surprise for a wedding in 2020. One thing I never expected when I moved to New Mexico: when you work in one place in the southwest, you work in the entire southwest. Since this part of the United States […]
Love wins. That’s really all there is to say. But, to explain: Andrea and Susan got married in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic and had to jump through and unreal amount of hurdles to do it. These two went through so many different options. Their big wedding had to be called off. Their plans to elope in a national park got thwarted by travel restrictions. Time and time again their plans had to be changed to fit the unpredictable roller coaster that is 2020. Finally, this plan worked. And it unfolded beautifully.
No lie, I must have gasped at least 100 times at this wedding. This is a shining example of what I want for every couple: a wedding day that reflects exactly who you are, incorporates the things you love, and makes you feel completely at home, surrounded by the things you value most. Everything about Kailey and Matt’s wedding day just screams THEM. No one besides them had a say in how to decorate, no one protested their desire to do anything unconventional. They invited the people that meant the absolute most to them. Because of this, their wedding was completely unforgettable because there will never be anything exactly like it. It was unapologetically everything that Kailey and Matt are and more. I’m SO excited to show this day off!
I’m out here, a New Mexico girl going through Northeast weddings cause I have completely run out of content due to Covid-19. I should be booking so many sessions and weddings but alas, 2020 is not any of our year.
SO! Here’s a wedding I second shot for Jessie Felix Photography! It seems like every wedding I second shoot for just takes my breath away. The couple was so stunning and sweet. And can we talk about her dress? AND THOSE VIEWS?? I can’t believe I got to be even a small part of this!
Wow. Thanks to quarantine, I’m able to go back in time and blog some October weddings! October is the most chaotic part of the year for photographers, and what follows it is months of catching up on editing and making deadlines. It’s so hard to blog during these times so I’m grateful for this bit of downtime to actually be able to feature some of my favorite weddings!
