When Haley and Alex told me they wanted their engagement session at Brenton Point State Park in Newport, Rhode Island, I knew it was going to be something special. They’d been spending a lot of time there in the spring and figured it would be even more beautiful in the summer—and they were right. We started their session at Brenton Point State Park during the golden hour, with the warm sun casting a perfect glow over the park’s sprawling greenery and ocean views. As if the location wasn’t already breathtaking, they brought along their adorable new St. Bernard puppy, June. She was full of energy, running around and flopping in the grass, adding an extra dose of playfulness to an already fun session.

As the sun began to set, we made our way to Second Beach in Middletown, just a short drive from Brenton Point. The transition from the golden hues of Brenton Point to the cool twilight at Second Beach was pure magic. Haley and Alex, still full of energy and down for anything, didn’t hesitate to dip into the ocean, even as the evening breeze set in. Their chemistry was palpable, and the combination of the serene beach backdrop with their playful energy made for some incredible moments.
