The gardens are lush, the fields sprawl out in every direction, and the sky feels enormous, which, on a sunny June day, means you’re basically shooting in a giant golden box of beautiful light all afternoon. The covered porch where cocktail hour happened was such a great touch: speeches delivered right into the crowd, everyone spilling out with drinks in hand, relaxed and happy. It set the tone for the whole night.
