Who is the worst at blogging on time? This girl! Guys, it’s been five months since this wedding and I am absolutely kicking myself for not sharing it sooner. This November wedding at Avon Old Farms Hotel in was the perfect way to send off 2017 and spending the day with Kelli and Evan was a total dream. This wedding was so lively, so full of character, and just so special. From Kelli having a first look with both her dad and the love of her life, to the handmade scarves and shawls, to high-fives at “you may kiss the bride”, to the full moon shining down on an unseasonably warm night…this was a wedding to remember.
To start the day off, I headed to the gorgeous bridal suite with the most perfect light shining through the windows. Dear venues, can we all get on board with making bridal suites as amazing as this?! Avon Old Farms does it right.
Oh and wasn’t Kelli just radiant? Her hair and makeup was so pretty!
Meanwhile, my second shooter hung out with the guys. Who were being guys. I mean, I can’t think of a better way to spend the morning of a wedding than playing Mario Kart, can you?!
Aaaaaand now for the tearjerker. Kelli’s relationship with her dad is something so rare and beautiful. Their closeness resonated throughout the day, especially during their first look together and the expression on his face was so powerful. Just makes me think of everything that makes being human so wonderful.
The guys cleaned up nicely after kicking eachother’s butts all morning!
And then came the sweet first look between bride and groom!
The smiles on their faces just say it all.
These pink flowered bushes were my favorite.
ALSO HOW ADORABLE ARE THEY?!
I loved that Kelli chose a deep green and gold as the colors for the wedding. Such a unique color scheme that worked so well!
I had the best time with this bridal party. Total goofballs who kept eachother laughing and the party alive.
The ceremony was probably my favorite part of the day. Kelli and Evan looked so radiantly blissful and put their own personal twist into it.
High fives and fist pumps. That’s how you get married, people!
After the ceremony, we snuck away for a few more photos before the dance floor got lit. the f. up.
(that didn’t count as swearing did it? I apologize, if anyone considers it so. But really, it is the most accurate way to describe this dance floor)
HERE WE GO!
Kelli and Evan, I can’t even tell you what a pleasure it was to take part in your engagement and wedding day. You are two amazing, goofy, genuine souls who are absolutely perfect together. Hope to see you again soon!
