Okay, confession time: I am the worst at blogging on time. This wedding was five months ago and I’m still kicking myself for not sharing it sooner because… wow. Kelli & Evan’s Avon Old Farms Hotel wedding in Connecticut was one for the books. It was joyful, emotional, goofy, and so full of personality. From Mario Kart battles in the morning to high-fives at the altar to a full moon over Avon, this day was unforgettable.

Getting Ready at Avon Old Farms Hotel

We kicked things off in the bridal suite at Avon Old Farms Hotel, and let me just say…venues, can we all agree that every couple deserves this kind of space to get ready in? Big windows, dreamy light, all the good vibes.

Kelli looked radiant as her team worked their magic, while my second shooter hung out with the guys… who were fully immersed in Mario Kart. Honestly? A+ wedding morning choice.

First Looks That Will Wreck You (in the Best Way)

One of the sweetest parts of the day was Kelli’s first look with her dad. His reaction was everything: pure love and pride. Then came Kelli & Evan’s first look, and the joy on their faces said it all.

A Ceremony Full of Personality

The Avon Old Farms Hotel wedding ceremony was classic, heartfelt, and 100% Kelli & Evan. They sealed the deal with high-fives and fist pumps, which might be my new favorite wedding tradition.

Their color palette—deep green and gold—was such a bold choice and it worked beautifully against the November backdrop.

Portraits & A Full-Moon Night

After the “I do’s,” we wandered around the hotel grounds for portraits (still obsessed with those pink flower bushes). Later, the night sky gifted us a full moon over Avon. Paired with unseasonably warm weather, it felt almost too perfect.

And then… the dance floor. Absolutely electric. This was one of those receptions where I was holding my camera above my head just to keep up with the chaos and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every guest was smiling, laughing, and celebrating like it was the only party that ever mattered.
