Megan and Treyver’s wedding at Bluebird Farm in Medusa, New York was loud, bold, high-energy, and absolutely unforgettable. These two and their entire guestlist showed up ready to party, cry, laugh, and embrace every single moment with full hearts and no holding back.

A Wedding Full of Bold Joy and Belly Laughs

Megan and Treyver met through the military, and most of their guests had military roots too which meant the energy was unmatched. These weren’t your quiet, reserved guests. These were dance-like-no-one’s-watching people. Scream-laugh during the speeches people. Run through the drizzle for a double rainbow people. AKA: my dream kinda people.

From the moment I arrived, it felt like I’d known them forever. Megan and Treyver are the kind of people who pull you into their world in the most joyful way, and somehow make you feel like you’ve always been part of it. The entire day was a celebration of their love, yes, but also a celebration of the beautiful, deeply connected community they’ve built.

Bluebird Farm: A Hidden Gem in the Catskills

This was my first time shooting at Bluebird Farm and I’m officially obsessed. This venue is a total hidden gem nestled in the Catskill Mountains with:

A gorgeous, charming old farmhouse for getting ready
Mountain views that will have you feeling connected to nature
A rustic-modern barn with space to party HARD
Tons of open land for photos, private moments, and spontaneous rainbow-chasing

It’s a newer venue, but it already feels like a classic. And the vibe? It matched Megan and Treyver perfectly: laid-back, fun, and full of possibility.

That Double Rainbow Moment

We had one of those “are you KIDDING me” movie moments when we stepped outside for couple portraits.

Megan had been a little bummed earlier in the day because it was gray and drizzly (no sunset, no glow). But then? The clouds broke open, and a double rainbow showed up like it had been RSVP’d.

We RAN. I laid in the wet grass. I sprinted through the mud. Megan and Treyver threw their whole joy into the moment and we made magic. It was one of those unplanned, absurdly perfect moments that remind you why real life beats Pinterest any day.

The Most Unhinged Dance Floor (in the Best Way)

Let me tell you: I’ve seen a LOT of receptions. But this dance floor? Absolutely insane in the most joyful, hilarious, belly-laugh way. These guests came to party and they did not disappoint. There wasn’t a single moment where the energy dipped. From wild moves to full-body singalongs to a spontaneous game of chicken, it was pure party.

I was literally cackling behind my camera the entire time.

Where to begin. When Andrea showed up to our wedding, it was like one of my friends showed up with a camera. She jumped into the chaos, but was not a contributor. She was a sense of calm. Capturing moments from the second she walked through the door, making me feel beautiful. I knew she wouldn’t miss a beat. The way she captured moments is unmatched and unstaged. My husband and I can be awkward in front of a camera, but she wouldn’t allow that! We had our typical posed photos and the rest was her talented ability to capture love, relationships and memories you’d never realize you’d want photographed. She stayed inspired the whole evening and was down to try anything to get an unbelievable photo! She laid and ran in the mud with us to capture rainbows, and reminded us that who needs a sunset when you have a double rainbow?! Whether you have a list of shots from Pinterest (which would be a disservice to her talents) or all you know is you want a picture with your mom and your husband, ANDREA is your photographer!!
