Emily Luther // Portrait Session
Ahhhhh this session! When Emily contacted me to collaborate on a photoshoot together, I could not contain my excitement. Emily is a hugely talented singer from Rhode Island with the kindest heart and a mind constantly on fire with creativity. Every idea and component of this session was put together by her and it turned out miles better than I could have ever dreamed. It was such an honor to work with such a talented woman and get our creative juices flowing!
This girl can "smize" like I've never seen before
Emily was able to get us into this amazing abandoned building which is part of a theater that was built in Rhode Island in 1926.
Turns out this place is on the National Register of Historic Places. Thanks Wikipedia!
Old buildings like this just make me so giddy. So much history and unique textures and old architecture. Also haunted, as I was told.
I was actually pretty nervous while editing through the photos that I would see something mega-creepy and burn my laptop on the spot.
Luckily no photos were haunted in the making of this session.
This was honestly one of my favorite places I've ever shot in. Light? Perfect. All the rooms? Perfect. Moodiness? Perfect.
Tophats and red lips? The most perfect.
