2016 was a huge year for me. It's the year I fully developed my own personal style, rather than just taking ideas from Pinterest. I invested in posing courses, editing tutorials, and found inspiration in like-minded photographers who pushed me to find my own identity in my career.
I realized how much I love how every couple's relationship is unique. I learned I can draw out their personalities, the way they interact and fit together, the way they make eachother laugh. I learned how much I prefer keeping things real over staging people, how much human emotion wins over pretty backdrops and perfect lighting.
I finally feel confident in what I can produce as a photographer and happy knowing exactly where I fit into the photography world. I know there is always much more to learn as I go along but I know I'm heading in the right direction.
