I admire people like Rebekah and Anthony so much. So entirely calm and laid back, not treating anything like a huge deal, never showing even a smidgen of anxiety. To them, their wedding day was not the start of a whole new lifestyle. It was not a life-altering event or some kind final goal they had been striving for. It was, really, a continuation and perfect celebration of their already-amazing love.
These two were experts at making this wedding their own. They ignored the typical wedding traditions and improvised more meaningful, hilarious, unexpected moments instead. They drank beers and ate burritos, brought their dog in the limo to the venue, watched fireworks in the distance, threw footballs, and set cakes on fire. My kind of wedding?
Oh. My. God. Yes.
"He's pissed at me right now."
"I made him wear a tux."
That moment your bridesmaid checks out your butt after helping you put on your wedding dress:
Alright guys. Here we go. My brides tend to love seeing their groom for the first time at the alter so when Rebekah mentioned that she wanted a first look, I RESEARCHED THE CRAP OUT OF CAPTURING FIRST LOOKS. So that morning, I was ridiculously nervous (but excited) for my first-first look. For absolutely no reason. Because this couple is amazing.
DUDE WAS EATING A BURRITO IN A CELTICS SHIRT WHEN HE FIRST SAW HIS BRIDE HOW FANTASTIC IS THAT.
This girl is too pretty. I could've taken bridal portraits all day long.
Rusty looks like he should be driving the limo he's about to jump into.
I loved this ceremony location so, so, so much.
How cool are these centerpieces!?
The father-daughter dance was sweet but lasted only about 30 seconds. Remember when I mentioned football? Oh yeah, they played football instead.
aaaaaaand remember when I mentioned cakes on fire?
and fireworks in the distance?
Rebekah & Anthony, you two and your wedding just made me so darn happy. Every part of it was just so perfect and original and beautiful and I was so lucky I got to be there to capture every part of it. You guys rock and I hope the post-wedding life is full of relaxation, Rusty, and burritos<3
