A laid back, backyard wedding is what Gayle and Rick wanted and they pulled it off PERFECTLY. Every little rustic-themed detail was gorgeous, the yard was equipped with a game of horseshoes and plenty of space for kids to run around in, and the atmosphere was that of a laid-back family cookout. With the smiles on their faces the whole day, anyone could tell this was a couple who had everything they could want on their wedding day.
One of my favorite details of the day were the motorcycles. Gayle and Rick are bike enthusiasts and asked me to make sure they were incorporated in the day. I'm so glad they were. They gave my portrait session with the couple something new and different, with a bit of an edge and a ton of personality.
Gayle and Rick are two of the sweetest people on the planet and it was such a pleasure to have met and worked with them. From the initial consultation, where Gayle gave me a hug right after meeting, to the end of the reception when I was invited to put down my camera and join in the dancing, I felt completely welcome into their lives. I fell in love with every aspect of their wedding day and left that night feeling an overwhelming amount of pride and satisfaction in my job. I love what I do =)
These details were so pretty!
Rick the Rockstar.
Any shot with animals during weddings steals my heart. Gayle's dog is blind and was such a calm and adorable contrast to the hustle and bustle of the wedding preparation.
the way she looks at him<3
Gayle you're stunning.
Gayle and her friends and family tore up the dance floor. I couldn't stop laughing at all the antics. It was so much fun!
I wisked Gayle and Rick away at the end of the night to capture this intimate moment I had been thinking about all night. I adore how it came out.
