Independence Harbor Wedding

Cassandra and Ron were married in the middle of the worst few weeks of winter most of New England had ever experienced. For days and days I had been checking the weather and keeping my fingers crossed that the snow would hold back for, you know, just a minute please?! Aaaand, of course it didn't. But it the midst of yet another day of snow, this beautiful couple surrounded themselves with the warmth and love of their family and friends. With the gold and green colors accenting the venue and the excited energy of the day, it was so easy to forget it wasn't a glorious spring day.

Cassandra was pretty much swimming in the love notes and it was adorable.

I swear this girl must get married to Ron every day or something; she was the least nervous, most calm (and absolutely beautiful, right?) bride I've ever met in my life. She's got this wedding thing DOWN.

These two were married in front of a cozy fireplace. I don't know about you but I definitely can't think of a better setting for a snowy day wedding.

This is the reaction you get when you ask a couple on their wedding day if their day is going okay. It's a pretty ridiculous question.

Cassandra and Ron were absolute troopers in the snow. I'm a complete wimp in the snow but I can't get over how beautiful of a backdrop it was!

The ceremony and reception were held at the classy Independence Harbor in Assonett, Massachusetts.

This father-daughter team made some magic happen on the dance floor and should be on So You Think You Can Dance. No one else would even come close.

 Seriously. They were amazing.
